Shana Alverson

Shana Alverson has been immersed in the world of nutrition and exercise since age 15 when she joined her first gym. By age 19 she was already teaching aerobics at helping clients eat for weight loss at Gold’s Gym. In 2005 she completed a work study at the Living Foods Institute in Atlanta, GA and later worked with a world famous Russian naturopath. In 2008 she opened her own gym, and after 28 years in the field of wellness she can say she’s passionately helped empower thousands of people to get healthy - from weight loss to getting off of heart meds to overcoming diabetes to healing infertility. She holds over 20 different coaching certificates including USA Weightlifting Coach, RYT200 Yoga Instructor, and CrossFit Level 2 Coach. Shana is also an accomplished athlete having competed at the completely brutal (somewhat infamous:)  CrossFit Games as an individual competitor 4 times, and holds a world record and 3 national records in Olympic weightlifting. She absolutely adores living in rural, north central Florida and is currently converting her 3 acres to a regenerative farm. She considers herself a modern Renaissance-woman, wizard, super-heroine with interests ranging from mycology to woodworking to shamanism. Ask her about the time she auditioned for INXS or her experiences in the Southwestern US working with wild mustang horses and burros. If you catch her on a good day, she might even be persuaded to sing you an aria in German.
